
RIW's Restaurant & Hospitality Group Year in Review 2025
2025 built on prior momentum with a continued uptick in new restaurant openings, concept launches, and mixed-use hospitality projects throughout Boston, New England, and key markets nationwide.
Throughout the year, our Restaurant & Hospitality Practice Group was proud to support numerous local, regional and national operators from concepts through opening, acquisitions and group expansions. Our group continued its engagement with community partners and industry events, including sponsorship with Boston Magazine, support of Spoonfuls food-rescue, and hosting our annual flagship Restaurant Trends event. We are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside so many passionate chefs, owner/operators, developers, and investors in an increasingly competitive landscape.
One memorable milestone for the region was Michelin’s arrival in Boston. The inaugural guide brought long-anticipated national attention to the city’s dining scene, with multiple restaurants earning well-deserved recognition in various categories.
We are pleased to share RIW’s Restaurant & Hospitality Practice Group 2025 Year in Review, highlighting client openings, industry events, and notable developments from the past year. Looking ahead to 2026, we look forward to continuing work through various opportunities and challenges as the industry enters its next chapter.
